GDI+ is the 2D graphics technology developed by Microsoft. It provides rich set of additional graphics features for 3rd-party developers. GDI+ is distributed as part of Windows XP, Vista and 7, while for earlier operating systems an additional redistributable file installation is required. You may found additional information about GDI+ on the Microsoft's Web-site.
GPSMapEdit 1.0 uses GDI+ for image loading. Without GDI+ properly installed, all features of the program will be available except loading PNG and TIFF images.
